Ralaar Fangfire was a former night elf that has mastered the retaining of his sanity whilst practicing the art of the pack form. He came to find a group known as the Druids of the Scythe where he bested several of them before becoming their Alpha Prime[1]. At some point in time, he became cursed to become a worgen. Although he still retains his consciousness and intelligence, unlike Gilnean worgen, he shows no sign of being able to revert back to his night elf form.

Biography

War of the Satyr

Some time after the Great Sundering, Ralaar fought with the other night elves against the satyrs in Ashenvale, during the War of the Satyr. Due to heavy loses to their number, Ralaar fought with Malfurion Stormrage over use of the Pack Form, which he felt would give them the strength to end the war.

Alpha Prime

At some point, the Druids of the Pack fell to the feral rage of the pack form. Ralaar mastered retaining his sanity whilst in the pack form and after besting the pack in combat, Ralaar offered to teach them how to keep their sanity whilst in the pack form. He has thus established himself as the Alph Prime of the Druids of the Scythe.

Sometime later, he becomes a worgen but escaped the worgens imprisonment in the Emerald Dream. He made his way to Gilneas where for some unknown reason, he seeks to spread the worgen curse.

When the worgen curse afflicted Gilneas, Ralaar purposely afflicted Halford Ramsey with the worgen curse for purposes currently unknown.
