Garek is a level 50 quest giver located in a small camp south of the Dustwind Gulch in the contested territory of Badlands. He has been sent of a secret mission by Krasus of the Kirin Tor (the red dragon Korialstrasz), involving the wakening and slaying of two black drakes. It is possible that he, like his master, is a red dragon, or maybe a dragonsworn, but it remains to be proven.

He starts the following quests:
