Gavin's Naze is a hill overlooking Hillsbrad. Mountain Lions inhabit the area, including the uniquely colored Araga. Who Gavin is or was is unknown; a naze is an old English word for a nose. The term Naze is sometimes used to denote a headland or promontory. In England the most famous Naze is located in the county of Essex and projects into the North Sea.
