Holy tree talents:
- Chakra: Chastise, a buff obtained using Chakra, increases the total damage done by Shadow and Holy spells by 15%.
- [Divine Fury] reduces cast time by 0.15/0.35/0.5 seconds.
- [Surge of Light] gives a 3/6% chance for Smite, [Flash Heal], [Heal] and [Greater Heal] to cause your next Flash Heal to be instant cast and cost no mana.
Discipline tree talents:
- [Atonement]: When you deal damage with Smite, you instantly heal a nearby friendly party/raid target for 50/100% of the damage dealt.
- [Borrowed Time] grants 7/14% spell haste to your next spell cast after [Power Word: Shield].
- [Evangelism] (Smite), increases the damage done by Smite by 2/4% and reduces the mana cost by 3/6%. Stacks up to 5 times.
- [Power Infusion] is an active talented ability that increases spell casting speed by 20%, and reduces mana cost of spells by 20% for 15 seconds.
- [Train of Thought]: You have a 50/100% chance when you Smite to reduce the cooldown of your [Penance] by 1 second.
- [Twin Disciplines] increases Holy spell damage by 2/4/6%.
Glyphs:
- [Glyph of Smite] (major), Smite inflicts an additional 20% damage against targets afflicted by Holy Fire.
- [Glyph of Divine Accuracy] (major), increases your chance to hit with your Smite by 18%.
Tips and tactics
- Because Smite is a Holy spell, it is unaffected by player resistances, offering reliable damage against all players.
- With the three-piece-bonus from the Priest's Zul'Gurub set, Smite's range can be increased to 42 yds.
