This questing guide for the zone of Ghostlands details an efficient method to obtain and complete the quests in Ghostlands.

Note: The questing guides are not meant for power-leveling purposes. Rather, they are meant to show players the most efficient way to complete all quests available for a particular zone. If you know of a better order or method to accomplish this, your input is welcome (in fact, greatly desired). For major changes, feel free to edit, but make a note in the talk page as to your reasoning.

Ghostlands (Level 10 - 20)

Ghostlands is the zone most blood elves will quest in, once they leave from Eversong Woods. It is also home to the raid instance Zul'Aman. The zone is connected to Eversong Woods in the north and Eastern Plaguelands in the south.

Other zone options for this level include Barrens and Silverpine Forest.

• Most players will reach the Ghostlands after they finished questing in Eversong Woods. The move is usually done with the Missing in the Ghostlands quest chain, which ends in Tranquillien and is described in the Eversong Woods questing guide.
  • Hunters, Rogues and Warlocks might have visited the Ghostlands already during their Level 10 class quests, which are also covered in the Eversong Woods questing guide.

• After finishing Delivery to Tranquillien, get  [10] The Forsaken from Arcanist Vandril.
• Complete the quest by talking to High Executor Mavren and accept and complete the follow up  [10] Return to Arcanist Vandril.
  • Blood Elves start  [10] Goods from Silvermoon City from Quartermaster Lymel.
• Get all available quests in Tranquillien:
  •  [10] Suncrown Village from Arcanist Vandril.
  •  [11] Tomber's Supplies from Rathis Tomber.
  •  [13] The Plagued Coast from Apothecary Renzithen.
• Make Tranquillien your home.
• Talk to Skymaster Sunwing to get the flight point.
  • Blood Elves will also turn in Goods from Silvermoon City and get  [10] Fly to Silvermoon City. If you can train new class skills at this time, complete the chain immediately. Otherwise wait with the flight until you have to train skills in Silvermoon City.
    • Fly to Eversong Woods, enter Silvermoon City and talk to Sathren Azuredawn to finish the quest and follow up with  [10] Skymistress Gloaming.
    • Talk to Skymistress Gloaming in Eversong Woods to exchange the current quest for  [10] Return to Quartermaster Lymel and return to Tranquillien.
    • Finish the chain at Quartermaster Lymel.

Suncrown Village

• Head north, then east for Suncrown Village.
• Pick up  [11G] Anok'suten from the Dying Blood Elf along the road.
• Turn both in and start follow up  [11] Goldenmist Village.
• Now you should be Friendly with Tranquillien; this opens up more quests:
  •  [11] Investigate An'daroth
  •  [12] Salvaging the Past
  •  [12] Help Ranger Valanna!
  •  [14] Trouble at the Underlight Mines
  •  [14] Down the Dead Scar
  •  [15] Culinary Crunch

Goldenmist Village and An'daroth

• Head west and complete  [11] Investigate An'daroth,  [11] Goldenmist Village,  [11] Tomber's Supplies, and  [12] Salvaging the Past. Head off of the road going west and you might be able to start/finish  [15] Culinary Crunch.
• Get more quests from Tranquillien and start
  •  [14] Windrunner Village
  •  [14] Into Occupied Territory
  •  [17] Investigate the Amani Catacombs

Zeb'Sora

• Complete  [12] Help Ranger Valanna!,  [12] Dealing with Zeb'Sora, and  [12] Report to Captain Helios.
• Pick up the following quests at Farstrider Enclave:
  •  [14] Bearers of the Plague
  •  [18] Attack on Zeb'Tela
  •  [18] Shadowpine Weaponry
  •  [12] Spirits of the Drowned
  •  [20G] Bring Me Kel'gash's Head! (from the wanted poster)
• Start  [12] Forgotten Rituals at the island in the lake.
• Then complete  [13] Vanquishing Aquantion and  [12]] Spirits of the Drowned. Turn them both in.

Windrunner Village

• Head to the far west and complete  [13] The Plagued Coast,  [14] Windrunner Village,  [14] Into Occupied Territory, and  [14] Down the Dead Scar.
• Pick up in Tranquillien:
  •  [15] Retaking Windrunner Spire
  •  [16] Rotting Hearts
  •  [17] Troll Juju
  •  [18] Spinal Dust

An'owyn

• Complete  [14] Bearers of the Plague and start  [15] Curbing the Plague.
• Head west to search for spiders, turning in  [16] Deliver the Plans to An'telas along the way
• Complete  [16] Deactivate An'owyn.

Underlight Mines (west again)

• Head west of the scar and complete  [14] Trouble at the Underlight Mines,  [15] Culinary Crunch,  [15] Curbing the Plague,  [15] Retaking Windrunner Spire, and  [16] Rotting Hearts.
• Start and complete  [14] Underlight Ore Samples.
• Start  [15] The Lady's Necklace from a dropped item.
• Turn in  [14] Underlight Ore Samples and start  [16] The Farstrider Enclave.
• Turn everything in and head back east to the Farstrider Enclave.

Farstrider Enclave
