Beginning corresponded with the December 14, 2010 Hotfixes about 3 weeks after Patch 4.0.3a and the release of Cataclysm; end corresponds with Patch 4.2.
The Season 1 Gladiator armor can no longer be purchased with honor or arena points. However, it can still be obtained through the exchange of Tier 4 armor tokens.
Arena reward class sets are five piece epic quality armor sets. Some classes have more than one set, representing the different specialties of the classes' abilities.

Note that head, shoulder, chest, hands, legs and shield are former Arena Season 1 items, whereas neck, wrist, waist, feet, finger and trinkets belong to Arena Season 3 and have a higher item level. The neck, wrist, waist, feet, finger armor and trinkets from arena season 1 are no longer available for purchase.
