Notes
This Glyph allows you to boost your spellpower by using Life Tap.
The effect combines with the spellpower boost that Fel Armor gives you to increase your total spellpower by 50% of your spirit, and Fel Armor helps you heal back the life lost.
Useful for warlocks of all specs, this Glyph provides a near constant boost in dps from your Spirit. Over the 40 second duration of the buff, Fel Armor's healing effect will heal you back for 90% of the health used to trigger the Glyph, so you only effectively use 4% of your health to keep this buff active.
In raid scenarios, the combination of Divine Spirit, Fel Intelligence, Mark of the Wild and Blessing of Kings increases your spirit by 199 at level 80. The Glyph therefore provides you with 40 spellpower purely from your buffs. Factor in the Spirit on your gear and your character and even more spellpower is to be found.
Particularly for Affliction and Destruction warlocks who will try and stay under full health at all times to benefit from the healing effects of Siphon Life and Soul Leech, this is a flat dps increase.
Patch changes
- Patch 3.3.0 (PTR): The effect of this glyph now has a chance of activating when Dark Pact is used.
- Patch 3.2.0 (2009-08-04): Duration of the buff from this glyph increased to 40 seconds.
