Undead gnomes have recently been seen working in the laboratories of the Scourge in Naxxramas and the Dragonblight. It is unknown what relation they have with other types of gnomes. Like leper gnomes, they seem to have been infected with leprosy at some point. This may explain why they look different than Death Knight-gnomes.
