Gnomeregan (formerly known as Gnomeregan Exiles) is the faction of gnomes who were exiled from their home, Gnomeregan, in Dun Morogh. It was destroyed by the troggs after a toxic invasion. Now a member of the Alliance, most are located in the Tinkertown section of the neighboring city Ironforge.
After Operation: Gnomeregan, the gnomes have begun to relocate to the newly reclaimed area surrounding the gates of their still-irradiated city.
Reputation

Bubulo Acerbus has the repeatable cloth reputation quests. As a reward for being exalted with Gnomeregan, Alliance players are able to ride Mechanostriders.
Surrounding zone Dun Morogh contains the most quests for gaining reputation with Gnomeregan.
As of Cataclysm, Bubulo Acerbus is removed. Dun Morogh offers enough Gnomeregan reputation to get a character to Friendly, but no further, with that faction.
Non-natives can go through the starting quests for some of the other races in World of Warcraft, gaining reputation with those factions as a result. However, as of 12-21-10, the Gnome starting character quest chain seems to be available only to Gnomes. This may be related to the partially infected status that new Gnome characters begin play in Gnomeregan with.
Gnomeregan reputation is also available for running through higher level instances while wearing a Gnomeregan tabard, available from the Gnomeregan quartermaster vendor in the main forge in Iron Forge.
