Silly-small

This is a silly article

This article is silly. Coming from a source other than the computer games, trading card game, novels, RPG, or manga, its content is not part of official Warcraft lore, but nevertheless has become part of the culture belonging to the World of Warcraft community.

Goldshire inn, or the Lion's Pride inn as it is officially known, is a festering, pornographic den for all of the lowlife, 'ERP-ers' who go there in the vain hopes that being laid in virtual life will increase their chances of having a sex life in the real world. As a result, Goldshire is widely regarded on Moon Guard RP realm as Pr0nshire, and will be referred to as such throughout this article.

When it started

Nobody knows when it started to become the cesspit it is today, but videos of the horror were being made in about 2009-10,so the change was fairly recent. Also, it was spoofed in Cru the dwarf in 2008, so its been around a fair while. For anyone valuing their love of the game, I advise you to never go there.

What goes on in there

Pr0nshire is generally a bit like Las Vegas: you can get virtually laid just by standing there; in fact you would, so don't stand still for very long. ERP-ers generally go along with whatever they consider sexually attractive, and as a result homosexuals and lesbians are commonplace; although since you have NO IDEA who any of these people are in real life, its a mystery. Due to the worgen being a playable race, beastiality is more common; before, all people had were their pets. Attractive females dance on the tables (commonly night-elves, Draenei and humans), and there are so many people in there, you receive a 'Big Pit-o-Lag.' Even the Horde are there, albeit upstairs. They are ganked mercilessly by hardcore, 'duel everyone on the faction, and kill everyone else' PvPers.

Blizzard

Blizzard has decided to largely ignore the problem, if not attempt to hide it.

Simply making a topic in the official customer service, server, or general discussion forums will result in a temp or permanent forum ban. With the addition of cross realm / virtual realms more players such as, newer and younger players will be exposed to the problem.
