The Ward of Wakening is the second of the Druid's Swift Flight Form quest chain.

Objectives

Bring 10 Bogblossoms, 10  [Ancient Lichen], and 10  [Dreaming Glory] to Morthis Whisperwing at the Cenarion Refuge.

Description

Long ago, the relics used to teach the ways of the stormcrow were entrusted to Clintar Dreamwalker for safekeeping.

Clintar's body rests in the barrow dens of Moonglade while his spirit roams the Emerald Dream.

I will prepare a potion you can use to ease the waking process. The mixture will require common herbs, as well as bogblossom, which grows on top of the mushrooms in the marsh. Take care in harvesting the blossoms, <Name>, they're quite fragile and may explode violently if mishandled.

<Morthis accepts the herbs from you, inspecting them. Producing a vial, he begins mixing the potion.>

Morthis Whisperwing says: There are few left in the world who can prepare the Ward of Waking, <name>. We are fortunate that I am among them.

Morthis Whisperwing kneels, filling the vial with water from the moonwell.

Morthis Whisperwing combines the herbs with the moonwell water to create the Ward of Waking.

Morthis Whisperwing says: The potion is finished. I can only hope Clintar forgives us for interrupting his sojourn in the Emerald Dream.

Notes

If you are an herbalist, bogblossoms are indicated on the minimap when using [Find Herbs] (only while this quest is active). Herbalism is not required, though, to find them.

The Bogblossoms are sensitive, and about 20% of the time, they will explode when you try to harvest them. This COULD knock you off the mushroom. Be prepared to change to flight form to avoid the fall. Notably, it seems to be guaranteed explosion if you rotate while picking the bogblossom.

Ancient Lichen is most commonly found inside various instances in Zangarmarsh and Terokkar Forest. Both this and Dreaming Glory can often be purchased on the Auction House. Bogblossoms are a quest item, though, and must be gathered by one's self.
