Grangol'var Village is a ruined settlement located in just north of the Bone Wastes. It is occupied by numerous Shadow Council warlocks of diabolical intent. Adventurers, at first, do not know what faction controls Grangol'var but after infiltrating the village with disguises, they find its true purpose.

Grangol'var has a couple possible references toward Star Wars; Shadowmaster Grieve is a possible reference to General Grievous and when one talks to some of the mobs while in disguise, they speak of an "uncle" who says they can't go to an "academy", but maybe "next season."
