Grangol'var Village is a ruined village located just north of the Bone Wastes. It is occupied by numerous Shadow Council warlocks of diabolical intent, all lead by Shadowmaster Grieve. Adventurers, at first, do not know what group controls Grangol'var Village, but after infiltrating the village with disguises during  [65] Who Are They?, they find its true purpose.

Grangol'var Village has a couple of possible references toward Star Wars; Shadowmaster Grieve is a possible reference to General Grievous, and when one talks to some of the mobs while in disguise, they speak of an "uncle" who says they can't go to an "academy", but maybe he will let them go "next season."
