Most Alliance players who are high level enough to survive in the southern [[Barrens]] have no need to kill either NPC - it's pretty easy to simply run past them onto the ramps without being killed, merely hit a few times. Once an Alliance player steps onto the elevator platform, Moonhorn and/or Grish will stop attacking him or her and run back up the ramp to their post.
