Blacksmithing
Grinding stones are ingredients both crafted by and used in Blacksmithing recipes, are used for the Darkmoon Faire quests

Grinding stones are created with the Blacksmithing skill.

Jewelcrafting
A Simple Grinder is a tool used by high level jewelcrafters for gem cutting and is used to make a few high end jewelry items. It is a tool, not an ingredient, and is not consumed. It is purchased from a trade goods vendor, jewelcrafting supplies vendor, or mining supplies vendor, not crafted. The inventory icon for the [Simple Grinder] is a grinding stone.
