Guardian of the Elders is a quilen statue found on the Elders' Path on the Wandering Isle. He tests pandaren to see if they are worthy enough to enter the Wood of Staves. There are many ways to prove one's worth, including besting him in single combat.

Pounce — The caster pounces at a nearby location, inflicting 20 Physical damage to all enemies within 4 yards of the destination and knocking them back.- Spirit Sting — Inflicts the target with 4 Nature damage every 3 seconds for as long as they remain in the area of Spirit Sting.

- Li Li Stormstout defeated the guardian for the right to visit the graves of the Wandering Isle Stormstouts. She is one of the youngest pandaren to successfully do so.[1]
