History
Animosity began as a group of friends that raided together in EQ and have carried their leadership experience and ideas over to Warcraft.
On November 23rd 2004 when World of Warcraft was released, Animosity was formed on US Server Khadgar, however within the first few days of launch, the server had stability problems, causing Animosity to split into two.
On September 3rd 2005 Animosity merged with Legion of Olympus. Only one member from the Legion of Olympus side of this merger remains.
On January 17th 2006, Animosity merged with Endless Suffering. Bacilli the Guild Leader of Endless Suffering is now Guild Leader of Animosity.
On February 13th 2006, the new forums are open.
About March 21st 2006 saw a sudden intake of a couple dozen members from Vendetta. Between April 9th - 10th of 2006 several people from this quasi-merger left.
On August 1st 2006 Animosity killed Onyxia.
On August 19th 2006 Animosity killed Ragnaros.
On May 29th 2007, long time guild leader of Animosity Banana left the Guild, Bacilli took over and remains to date.
On July 12th 2007 Animosity killed Prince Malchezaar
On January 2008 Animosity killed Gruul.
On May 1st 2008 Animosity killed Magtheridon
Loot rules
To be eligible to spend DKP on loot in the 25 man raids you must:
- Have Membership rank within the guild with the DKP to spend. Initiate may bid on the item but Members get first priority.
- Have a minimum 35% raid attendance for the last 30 days.
- If you currently have the Tier level item that drops, you cannot bid again on it for your off spec until everyone listed in the raid has that item at least once.
- If you do not have 35% raid attendance but still wish to bid, you may but folks that meet the requirements will get priority on loot. If it's uncontested you will win it.
