Guild Philosophy

• Team focus. Policies and decisions will be biased towards what is best for everyone as a group. As leaders we will spend more time helping others over ourselves and we will do our best to instill that philosophy in our members.
  
• Play with honor and respect. We very much feel that who you are in game does represent who you are in real life. We care about the server community at large and we expect all of our members to conduct themselves in an honorable manner at all times.
  
• Maturity. We do not have an age requirement but we want to foster a mature friendly environment.
  
• No bragging about accomplishments or loot, especially in public.
  
• No loot drama.
  

Loot System

Zero-sum DKP
In this system, every item that can be received in a particular encounter is assigned a point value in advance. When such an item drops, players, in priority of their total number of points, have the option of receiving that item. If a player elects to do so, then everybody participating in that encounter receives an equal fraction of the points just spent. Players are allowed to have negative points. The total number of points spent is always equal to the points received, which is the origin of the name "Zero-Sum". Prices are ilvl based. DKP systems are separated by tiers. Melee/ranged weapons are given to other classes at half price.

Recruitment

Avalon is always recruiting. We are looking for players that:

• Are level 70 and keyed to Karazhan.
  
• Are able to attend at least 3 raids per week.
  
• Play almost every day.
  
• Take time to farm consumables.
  
• Take effort in learning their class and the game.
  
• Have Ventrilo and are willing to speak.
  
• Are mature and friendly.
  

Raiding Schedule:
Sun: 2pm - 8pm
Mon: 6:30pm - 11:30pm
Wed: 6:30pm - 11:30pm
Thu: 6:30pm - 11:30pm
