Applicants
Beyond Blackwing is now a raiding guild that is here for fun and progression. While we prefer to spend time bettering our toons, and our guild, we also enjoy the challenges of pre-BC content. We accept raiders who are keyed for Karazhan and all heroix. Applicants must meet application guidelines and members are expected to play at 200% at all times.

Guild Progression: The Burning Crusade
Karazhan
Beyond Blackwing began raiding Karazhan occasionally in late May of 2007. Toward the end June 2007 a group was formed to clear it weekly. As of this posting (July 14, 2007) we are clearing Karazhanwith two groups on a weekly basis.
Gruul's Lair
On Friday (July 13, 2007), Beyond Blackwing entered Gruul's Lair and attempted Maulgar several times with nearly a full guild run. Lacking some healing and proper preparation the High King and his minions proved to be a difficult challenge. Sunday (July 15, 2007), we will enter Gruul's Lair once again, but with a fully prepared guild run.
On Sunday (July 15, 2007), we got our first kill on High King Maulgar in Gruul's Lair!
On Sunday (July 29, 2007), we got our first Gruul the Dragonkiller kill!
On Sunday (August 19, 2007), we killed Gruul the Dragonkiller for the last time until the next phase of recruiting and gearing process is complete. Several events have transpired that have forced us to seek out new recruits.
On Monday (October 8, 2007), we got our first Gruul the Dragonkiller kill in over a month. The rebuilding process has been long, but has proven to pay off. Everyone has done a tremendous job of helping the nubs gear up and get ready for the 25 mans!
Magtheridon's Lair
On Monday (February 18, 2008), Magtheridon finally dropped for us.
Tempest Keep: The Eye
On Wednesday (November 28, 2007), we burned Void Reaver! He proved to be a bit of a change for us, but it was fun and he is dead!
Sunday (February 17, 2008), Al'ar died.
Monday (February 18, 2008), High Astromancer Solarian got pwned in the face.
Serpentshrine Cavern
On Monday (December 3, 2007), we downed The Lurker Below. The fight was ezmode and all the phat lewtz were ours!
On Monday (December 17, 2007), Hydross the Unstable died.
On Thursday (December 20, 2007), we got our first Morogrim Tidewalker kill.
On Thursday, (January 31, 2008), Leotheras the Blind got pwned.
On Wednesday, (February 27, 2008), Fathom-Lord Karathress died after quite the long vacation from raiding.
Battle for Mount Hyjal
On Tuesday, (April 22, 2008), we got our asses in gear and destroyed Rage Winterchill!
World Bosses
On Monday (December 10, 2007), Doomwalker was put to sleep on our very first attempt. Abaldhippy finally got an upgrade for that crap blue mainhand he was sporting forever.
On Thursday (January 10, 2008), Doom Lord Kazzak got pwned in the face on our second pull!
History
Beyond Blackwing was formed in November of 2005 by Zorthor during the demise of The Burning Leaf. After a short period Zorthor left control of Beyond Blackwing to one of his alts and left it on the back burner while he joined Secret Society.
In the late summer of 2006, Khulgar took over leadership of Beyond Blackwing and began the construction of what had hoped to be a place for people to join together and progress toward end game content. Progression was not on everyone's mind, at some point, and the demise of Beyond Blackwing seemed to be eminent. Eventually, the decision was made to merge the remaining members into Warband of Grey.
Shortly before The Burning Crusader was released, Ishgor (the mage formerly known as the warrior, Khulgar), Darkfaux and Abaldhippy (the priest formerly known as the shaman, Abaldhippie) decided it would be best to start up Beyond Blackwing yet again, this time as a "casual" raiding guild. We are now one of the top 10 Horde Raiding Guilds on Hellscream.
Our trek through Karazhan was not a short trip. For quite some time, we ran two groups on a weekly basis gearing up more than our share of characters. As with any guild, many have come and gone. In a course of 6 months, we went from farming Karazhan and Gruul's Lair, to recruiting new members and teaching them the Karazhan and Gruul's Lair fights.
After a long delay following tremendous progress in Serpentshrine Cavern and learning 3/4 in Tempest Keep, we have chosen to forge ahead into Battle for Mount Hyjal! In doing so, we spent several hours learning Rage Winterchill before finally downing him. Anetheron was just about dead when Jaina decided she should help out. NO JAINA! DON'T DO IT! We'll get em next time.
