Horde Crest Server:Arthas US

<Blackwolf Raiders>

Horde Raiding guild of the Arthas(US) server, run by Vikra (I'll never sell my skullflame), Alshar (what's his real name?), and Hunie (the real boss).

For recruitment opportunities, go to: http://www.blackwolfraiders.com

Progression:

  • Blackwolf Raiders have all bosses in SSC and TK on farm except for Lady Vashj and Kael'Thas.

Raiding:

  • The raid nights are Monday thru Thursday at 9:00 pm server (Eastern) time until as last as 1:00 am, although raids seldom last this long.

History:

  • The Blackwolf Raiders was originally founded by Guzrogg a few months after World of Warcraft's release. Some of our founding members are still in the guild, such as Kirthro and Vikra. After months of trying to get the guild off its feet, Guzrogg was about to disband when Vikra offerred to take over. The guild wasn't very big at the time, and within a week, Blackwolf Raiders was down to 8 members...
  • Vikra knew he had to act or Blackwolf Raiders would be no more. So, after redesigning the stunning guild tabard (which we still wear proudly today) with the help of his wife, he began a relentless quest to recruit new members. He opened up recruiting for all classes and welcomed all new members with open arms. Soon, his real life friend, Tharil joined him and together they focused on helping their members level. Their idea was that if they couldn't recruit high level members, they would level the members which they already had. The Blackwolf Raiders steadily grew in size, but gained the reputation as a "good leveling guild". Which was okay, but.. most high level members tended to leave for more promising "end game" guilds.
  • Further actions had to be taken. So they kept heads up on guilds that were disbanding. This slowly gained them a few more members but still not enough manpower to organize any 40-man raids. Members were coming and going daily. Vikra thought that a website would help and Tharil offerred to pay for it. They had a hard time getting one together until finally Rali offerred his assistance and built the current guild website.
  • Blackwolf Raiders had some good, dedicated members but still there was not enough manpower to really get things moving. Their lucky break finally came when SC fell apart. Members came pouring in by the droves. Those members talked to their friends and Blackwolf Raiders finally started to come together and build a solid rapport. Vikra got a ventrilo server, appointed some officers and, with much thanks to Rali, got our forums up and running.
  • It took a long time and a lot of effort to bring the Blackwolf Raiders to its present state. Today, Blackwolf Raiders is considered one of the top 10 Horde guilds on their server and also one of the largest.
