The Blade Runners is not a l33t guild. Blade Runners is not about phat loot and 24/7 raiding. Blade Runners is not wow-life.
Blade Runners is aimed at for those people that have a real-life: who want to experience all the content that wow has to offer without sacrificing their jobs & families. Most of our members typically start gaming between 7-8 ST. Its aimed at those who want to, more than anything else, be part of a community.
It doesn't matter whether you've had wow for 2 weeks or 2 years; just that you contribute, treat others with respect and, above all, want to enjoy the ride. Please take a look at our charter for more information; or drop into Terenas and speak to an officer (Jubalia, Mythican, Meagul and Reyzwa)or other member for more. You can apply here.
The Blade Runners was created by Surferrosa on 04/04/2008 on Terenas as a reroll guild. By recruiting in the weeks before we had around 60 members at the start. And that number kept growing as we leveled together. With our casual view on the game, combined with the age restiction we got a very solid and mature community of which we are very proud. We started raiding Karazhan after about 1,5 month, and we shooted through Outlands content. Before we had a chance to kill Illidan the pre-expansion blues hit us, like it hit every other guild. Fortunately, we found back out spirirts and we are now happily killing bosses in WotLK.
On one of our anniversary events we had a gnome race. We had to make a level 1 gnome and run with it to Darnassus where we had to find a Night Elf named Cherries. Loads of fun!!
Here is a list with the bosses we killed, together with a date of the first kill. Karazhan is uncomplete, because back then we forgot to write down the dates on which we killed the bosses. Forgive us ;)
Farm status means that we generally kill all the bosses without many deaths and no wipes.
We do not a have a stucture where the GM is the absolute leader, but the officers and guild leader are all members of the council where all have the same rights. We see the need of a GM more as a necessary evil than anything else.
