Guild progress

History

Chaotic Illusion was formed shortly after a few Unseen Legion members left the server. Unseen Legion was one of the top 2 Alliance guilds on the server challenged The Dominion ( Horde) for server firsts.

Chaotic Illusion is still one of the top hardcore raiding guilds on the Alliance side of Aggramar and is currently raiding in Mount Hyjal and Black Temple.

Weekly raid schedule

  • We raid 5 nights Sunday - Thursday. Fridays & saturdays are guild day off time. Usually ZA or Karazhan badge runs are sometimes organised at the weekend.

Guild rules

Before the raid

Chaotic Illusion is a guild with a large history formed on 02 January 2007 & our previous hardcore raiding sister guild was Unseen Legion dated back in 14 April 2005. For quite a long awhile, UL was the top alliance raiding guild on Aggramar server.

Our focus is on high-end content, so once lvl 80 has been reached we will conquer the new raiding instances in Wrath of the Lich King. While we officially raid 5 days a week, we try & play to the utmost of our capacities on those days.

If, you think of yourself as a team player who knows his/her class & has an interest in all of the game's mechanics, who comes to raids prepared with both consumables & knowledge of boss tactics, then by all means continue reading.

• You apply to us, not several guilds at the same time.

• Be here 5 days a week, Sunday to Thursdays, from 19.30-00.00 gametime.

• A stable connection. DCing 5 times a night isn't doing anyone favours.

• Install Ventrilo 3.0.1 Able to listen is required.

• Install Omen/Recount, a threat meter addon.

• Install oRA2, a (better) CTRaid Assist alternative.

• Be active on our forums. Read up on announcements/changes.

• Be ready for both positive & negative criticism. No drama = happy raiders.

• Enjoy this game & your class. Read up on in-depth game/class mechanics.

Don’t speak gobble de goop

Please, if you need a dictionary to understand this website, don't apply.

We might be a raiding guild but we do not stop being a group of social beings; we expect you to be as well. We require you to have a good understanding of english language: listening comprehension and preferably spoken as well.

That doesn't mean you have to start telling stories about yourself during a boss encounter, but it's much more enjoyable for both you and us if we can talk, laugh and cry in the same language.
