Guild Introduction
Chosen Ones is a casual PvE guild formed by some real life friends to have some raiding fun. Therefore, their priority in recruiting is being helpful, fun and easy to get along rather than just hardcore raiding.
Brief History
The guild is formed to do firstly Karazhan raids before jumping up to Zul'Aman. They did their first Karazhan raid on 26.01.2008, in which they could only down Attumen the Huntsman and Moroes because of some problems not related to the game. (Lack of time and the disconnection of the MT) Since then, the guild made their raid schedule much more definite and began to progress deeper into Karazhan. As a result, they cleared Karazhan in their second attempt, which soon turned into a farming status rather than just "cleaning".
After achieving significant success and decent gear in Karazhan, the guild started to raid Zul'Aman as well as setting up a second Karazhan raid group after new applications are accepted. In their first attempt to Zul'Aman, they downed Nalorakk and Akil'zon. Killing Halazzi on later tries, the guild lacked a protection paladin which is nearly essential for Jan'Alai fight. With the enrolling of a protection paladin, the guild will soon down Jan'Alai for sure.
The guild is also trying to speed run Akil'Zon. After this is achieved, speed running Akil'Zon and Nalorakk will be the new objective.
Guild Progress
History
Chosen Ones itself is not a new guild indeed, being formed just 1 month or so after the release of The Burning Crusade Expansion Pack by some real life friends. The guild wasn't used much after its creation though, as the main chars of the founders joined the ranks of a national guild, which disbanded a few months after they joined. After joining and leaving some guilds, the founders decided to bring Chosen Ones back to life by joining and starting to recruit.
First, they invited their old guildies to the guild, which formed the current roster of the guild, with nearly 20 lvl70's including alts. The founders are now starting to invite different people with whom they experienced some instances or raids and known to be kind.
Weekly Raid Schedule
- Wednesday : Karazhan with 2 groups
- Thursday : Karazhan with 2 groups
- Friday : Zul'Aman
- Sunday : Zul'Aman
All raids start at 20:00 server time. (Paris - CET)
Guild Rules
- All members are required to attend at least 3/4 of the raids each week unless a valid reason is presented latest 2 days before the raid.
- Before the raids, every member should be online latest 15 minutes from the raid (19:45 CET) and all members are responsible for repairing their gear, buying a sufficent amount of reagents, potions, and/or elixirs/flasks/buff foods/etc.
- As a general rule; any abusive, racial, discriminating, etc. kind of act will face disciplinary action.
Recruitments
The guild is looking for Karazhan attuned, experienced and decent geared Mages, Shadow Priests, Restoration Druids and Restoration Shamans.
