Who is Chronus?

Chronus is an Alliance raiding guild on Alleria US (PvE). Presently, Chronus has beat the game and is a little ticked that the princess was in another castle and that Malygos's corpse makes for such a lame picture. Founded by a visionary dwarf, Chronus puts forth the idea of Dwarven dominance in all aspects of Warcraft. Gnomes are very rarely allowed in the guild.

(Ed. Note - This idea is propagated by the "visionary" dwarf, and is far from actually being true. The Night Elves and Humans do the majority of the work, while the lazy Dwarves sit idly by.)

Chronus members can often be found stuck in holes all over Azshara, or near the spamming gnome Rakkanishu, or AFK in anything important, in the case of the hunter class leader. Most of the time, the guild is intoxicated, particularly the leadership, and this creates fun raid scenarios.

As of last edit, Chronus fields two 25 man PvE teams, led by Sylexia (9:30 PM Group) and Aspir (9:00 PM Group). Both groups are working on clearing Ulduar to continue our progression dominance.

History

December 22, 2005: Chronus founded
End of February 2006: Beginning of 20-man raiding (Zul'Gurub)
March 2006: Chronus starts a community favorite in the Onyxia and Molten Core pickup groups- downing Onyxia for the first time with a mostly Chronus group on their first attempt March 23.
April 2006: Chronus shifts new people in and some people out, refocuses on PuGs which have success in Molten Core, amps up recruiting, and kills Hakkar the Soulflayer for the first time in guild.
May 2006: First full 40-man guild raid to Molten Core.
June 2006: First kill of Ragnaros, June 21.
July 2006: Farming Molten Core for gear in preparation for Blackwing Lair, which starts toward the end of the month.
August 2006: Blackwing Lair is on: Chronus gets their first kill of Razorgore on August 3rd, Vaelastrasz on August 15, and Broodlord Lashlayer on August 29.
September 2006: In one day, September 4th, Chronus moves from the middle to the end of Blackwing Lair, with first kills on each of the drakes (Firemaw, Ebonroc, and Flamegor). Chromaggus falls to Chronus on the next week, September 11. The very next week, on September 19, Chronus kills Nefarian for the first time.
October 2006: Farming in preparation for AQ 40 had commenced. Chronus snuck in on October 9th, 2006 for a first shot kill on The Prophet Skeram.
November 2006: First kill of Battleguard Sartura, November 14.
December 2006: Chronus ends dedicated raiding due to attendance issues with the looming release of the expansion pack.
February 2007: Chronus begins raiding again with a trip to Karazhan.
April 2007: Chronus kills High King Maulgar in Gruul's Lair.
May 2007: Chronus kills Gruul the Dragonkiller.
July 31, 2007: Chronus kills Magtheridon.
August 6, 2007: Chronus announces expansion plans, starts second raid group
August 20, 2007: Chronus kills Void Reaver in Tempest Keep.
September 3, 2007: Chronus kills The Lurker Below in Serpentshrine Cavern.
September 6, 2007: Chronus kills Doomwalker after two attempts, making it its first outdoor raid boss kill ever.
September 14, 2007: Chronus kills Morogrim Tidewalker.
September 26, 2007: Chronus kills Hydross the Unstable.
October 2, 2007: Chronus kills Fathom-Lord Karathress.
October 9, 2007: Chronus kills Leotheras the Blind.
October 10, 2007: Chronus kills Doom Lord Kazzak. BC outdoor raid bosses cleared!
October 18, 2007: Chronus kills Al'ar in Tempest Keep.
October 23, 2007: Chronus kills High Astromancer Solarian. Beware Lady Vashj, here we come!
January 28, 2008: Chronus finally kills Lady Vashj. One step closer to stepping into Mount Hyjal!
March 10, 2008: Chronus owns Kael'thas Sunstrider and his fellow adds. We are so prepared Illidan!!!
March 11,2008: Chronus steps into Mount Hyjal for the first time and leaves with another guild first, this time, Rage Winterchill was the victim.
March 17,2008: Chronus kills both Anetheron and Kaz'rogal.
March 26,2008: Chronus kills Azgalor in Battle of Mount Hyjal.
April 21,2008: Chronus successfully puts Archimonde to rest, therefore completing Battle of Mount Hyjal.
April 24,2008: Chronus defeats Reliquary of Souls in Black Temple.
April 28,2008: Chronus downs Mother Shahraz in Black Temple.
May 6, 2008: Chronus defeats the Illidari Council in Black Temple, moving on to begin attempts at Illidan Stormrage.
July 1st, 2008: Chronus kills Illidan Stormrage, clearing Black Temple and getting ready to tackle Sunwell Plateau.
August 15th, 2008: Chronus kills Kalecgos in Sunwell Plateau
September 12th, 2008: Chronus humbles Brutallus in Sunwell Plateau
October 10th, 2008: Chronus defeats Felmyst in Sunwell Plateau
October 21st, 2008: Chronus permanently separates the Eredar Twins in Sunwell Plateau
October 22nd, 2008: Chronus banishes M'uru in Sunwell Plateau
October 31st, 2008: Chronus ends Kil'jaeden and thwarts the Burning Legion in Sunwell Plateau and prepares for a nice break before WOTLK.
December 2nd, 2008: Chronus kills Sartharion in the Obsidian Sanctum
December 10th, 2008: Chronus kills Sartharion 1 Dragon, in the Obsidian Sanctum
December 11th, 2008: Chronus kills Archavon in the Vault of Archavon. But really is this a Raid Instance?
December 29th, 2008: Chronus clears Naxxramas
January 8th, 2009: Chronus kills Sartharion 2 Dragon, in the Obsidian Sanctum
January 19th, 2009: Chronus kills Malygos in the The Eye of Eternity. Arthas screams in rage at Chronus clearing all 3.0 content.
April 13th, 2009: Chronus kills Sartharion with 3 drakes in the Obsidian Sanctum the night before Ulduar is released, having finally defeted the all-powerful attendance boss.
