History

Deadmoon Tribe was created December 25th, 2004, by Tazzomax. Though DMT began as a small, community-oriented guild, it successfully made the transition to raiding guild in the summer of 2005, and has been active on that front through the release of The Burning Crusade. While it has never been a "top" guild progression-wise, DMT has traditionally been represented in the top end of the middle tier of progression, usually ranked around 4 or 5 on its faction. One of the most notable aspects of the guild is that it represents one of very few guilds which have remained intact since 2004. To date, DMT has never undergone a major roster turn-over or change of leadership.

DMT Fest, a real life meeting attended by guild members and family, first took place in Washington, D.C. during July of 2006, where 32 members of the guild met together in real life. A second DMT Fest took place in Lexington, Kentucky in July of 2007 and was attended by 33 guild members. For the third DMT Fest, the location was moved to Tampa Bay, Florida in June of 2008, where 34 DMTers, the largest group yet, were able to meet up and have fun.

Weekly Raid Schedule

DMT currently raids primary content (25-slot) 3 days per week, T - Th, starting around 8 pm and ending before midnight. Sub-raid content (10-slot) and active PvP groups (including organized BG teams) is worked around this schedule, often on the weekends. These groups are organized on an as-needed basis, meaning individual members are responsible for securing their place in a set capable of handling the content.

Content-wise, the guild is focusing entirely on T6 instances (Hyjal Summit and Black Temple), and no longer actively runs Gruul's Lair, Magtheridon's Lair, Serpentshrine Cavern, or The Eye, though some guild members lead independent Karazhan and Zul'Aman runs for badges and lesser-geared characters.
