Deliverance is a social PvE oriented guild currently working towards 25 man content. The guild focuses on recruiting players who are social and willing to help others in the guild and encourage a humorous guild chat. As a social environment is the highest priority, there is currently no level requirement in place. Deliverance has strong core of focussed players and strong raid leadership to guide it through all the new challenges.

Guild progress

History

Originally hailing from the Ally side of Dragonblight-EU a group of real-life friends were bored with the PvE environment as well as the raid progress of their current guild. 7 friends all decided to re-roll Horde on a PvP server and Executus was chosen and shortly after (November 2006) Deliverance was formed. Initially started with no intentions of expanding the guild it was soon found that people who ran instances with us were keen to join due to the camaraderie and experience we brought with us.

Having rerolled 3 months before TBC, Deliverance found itself quickly recruiting members to begin Karazhan runs and found progress rapid enough (thanks to excellent raid leadership and a strong core team) to begin looking towards 25 man content. A second Karazhan team was formed and additional people recruited to populate this team - they too made excellent rapid progress. With the introduction of Zul'Aman, Deliverance added this new instance into its weekly rotation and currently have the 4 aspect bosses down and are working on getting their first clear.

To celebrate their 1 year anniversary a run to Gruul's lair was scheduled and resulted in the downing of the High King. Further Gruul's Lair runs have been scheduled starting in Jan 2008.

Weekly raid schedule

The current weekly raid schedule is being revised due to the addition of Gruul's Lair and the rotation of Zul'Aman. Previously, the rotation was as follows:

  • Wednesday, Thursday 8:00 PM Server - Karazhan (Team 1)
  • Friday, 8:00 PM Server - Zul'Aman (Team 1)
  • Sunday, Monday, Tuesday - 8:00 PM Server - Karazhan (Team 2)

Guild rules

  • The guild uses PHPRaider for organising raids, members are expected to sign up to raids if they wish to attend - http://wow-deliverance.com/phpraider
  • Loot from 10 man content is currently distributed using a priority based roll system. Priorities are assigned using Kalibans loot list as a guide.
  • Unwanted loot will be sharded and all shards will be sent to the guild bank where they will be either distributed for enchants if required or sold and used to put coppers into the guild bank.
  • 25 man content will use a DKP system - currently planned is a Zero-Sum system.
