Destined for Descent is a casual raiding guild. We are currently raiding SSC, TK, and Hyjal weekly, as well as clearing Gruul, Mag, Zul'Aman, and Kara.
Our members consist of people who understand what is needed for raiding, but also know how to keep Real Life first. We want to have people that like to have fun and joke around, but know how to get down to business when it's time, and are able to prioritize well.
DfD was formed on Eldre'Thalas. It is focused towards working on end game instances, and we prefer to only recruit people with experience, though exceptions are occasionally made. To fill out an application goto http://dfd.guildomatic.com. For more information you can contact Gennacyide, Baldrath, Dysfunksyn, Evilangel, Famrit, or Sedra in game.

This guild was originaly formed by Gennacyide and a group of friends wanting more focused end game progression, while still maintaining a casual environment. Our first week formed, we nearly cleared Kara, and have now done so numerous times. After growing a bit more, we're now trying to expand into 25 man instances, and have decided to extend recruitment to anyone that could be an asset.

Guild rules
- Do not beg people in or out of guild for items, money, PL-ing, etc. If you need help, we are here for you, but just remember.....“No means NO“
- Be mindful of what you say in public chat channels. When talking in public chat channels (general, trade, lfg, etc...) please refrain from making slanderous or derogatory remarks. This includes but is not limited to flaming of individuals or guilds, use of profanity, or sexual innuendos. Please remember that the age range of players is very large, AND that you are representing our guild.
- Aiding guild members. If someone needs help with something and you have a free moment, please take the time to help them out. A guild is like a family and our number one goal before all else is to be there for each other. That said, in the instance of quests, please be mindful of the difference between asking someone to assist you and asking someone to do it for you.
- Obligation to the guild. There is a lot more to being a part of a guild than having a stylish guild tag and a new chat channel. As a member of Destined for Descent you will be expected to participate in guild events, within reason. We understand that real life comes first, and that you may have personal game goals that conflict with an arranged guild event. We understand if you cannot attend every event, but we do expect somewhat frequent attendance.
- Be supportive. If you can, congratulate a person when they DING or get an item that they wanted. People always like to hear that their hard work was noticed by their "family".
- Give input. The only way we can grow as a guild is if we know what the guild wants. The only way to do that is to get input from everyone.
- Feel free to contact the guild officers with any concerns you may have. We are not by any means a dictatorship, and we don't wish for anyone to feel discluded or uncomfortable.
- We expect ALL members to act in a mature manner and follow these rules. If any issues come up please send a tell to an officer and they will look into it.
- And above all...HAVE FUN. Enjoy being around your guildmates and friends, remember you don't play WoW to add stress to your life.
