Duck of Doom is a casual raiding guild.
History
Duck of Doom was formed on Dragonmaw, EU on 29th of September, 2007, with first GM being Harthrul, a tauren warrior, with founding members Anabella, Ravenwind, Latamar, Papacuna, Prsubulju, Hardhoove, and Trun.
After a while, due to real life issues and summer of 2008, guild leadership was turned to Latamar, a blood elf paladin. After officer discussion about summer and upcoming expansion, it was decided to put the guild in hibernation for duration of summer since most of the members were less active. Guild leadership was transferred to Matovilka, a blood elf rogue.
A lot of active guild members moved on to other more active guilds that formed and proceeded to clear Burning Crusade raids and instances. The guild was kept alive, occasionally raiding 10 man raids like Karazhan and Zul'aman, but it was barely functional.
During that period, several members became know on realm forums as active posters (trolls), which gave the guild a reputation of a social PvE guild. Several alliance players created secondary accounts and joined Duck of Doom during that period.
With the release of The Wrath of the Lich King expansion pack, guild has revived, guild lead was returned to Latamar on his alt Kaldorgo, and former members started returning. With some recruiting from more prominent members, Duck of Doom has started to raid again, clearing all 10 man raid content, and eventually 25 man raids.
