Ebon Phoenix is a Horde PvE guild on the Hellscream (EU) server.
As of August 2012, Ebon Phoenix has 205 characters, 125 of which are at level 85. The majority of our members are from the United Kingdom.
Our primary purpose as a guild is to provide our members with a fun, friendly and enjoyable social community, whilst also maintaining mature, professional raiding standards in our raiding groups.
Our guild leaders are Hazellina and Jahadiel.

History
Ebon Phoenix was officially launched on 21st June 2009, founded by several former members of another social guild on the server, Paradox.
From the start of September until mid-October 2009, Ebon Phoenix participated in a collaboration with Venatus Una, another PvE guild on our server. Working together, the two guilds successfully cleared the 25-man version of Naxxramas and made progress into 25-man Ulduar. This collaboration has since been put on indefinite hiatus.
As of August 2012, Ebon Phoenix continue to provide a mix of social and raiding entertainment for it's members and frequently enjoy a high online player count on Hellscream EU.
Recruitment
Recruitment in Ebon Phoenix is done ingame by whispering a member and requesting an invite. After a week's trial, pending no objections by either the recruit or the guild members, the recruit will be promoted to full member status.

We do not consider level, class, talent spec, equipment, experience, or connection speed to be criteria within our recruitment process; we place a far higher value on a player's personality than their gearscore. The only thing we require of our members is an understanding of conversational English, in order to facilitate guild communications.

Raiding
- Raid Progress
- Ebon Phoenix operate on a three-tier progression system; 'progression', 'middle ground', and 'farm'. These classifications are used to determine whether or not members are permitted to prioritize bringing their alts, and denotes how successful our progress has been in a given instance.
So far Ebon Phoenix have mainly been working on 10-man (normal) content raids. We also run occasional 'nostalgia' raids for vanilla, Burning Crusade and Wrath content, and are making progress in fielding 25-man content.
Raiders are required to have access to Team Speak 2 for voice communication during raids. Our server details can be found in the guild information tab in-game.
