Guild:Extra Crispy (Ysera US)

From WoWWiki

Extra crispy is a bunch of experienced players that have been on WoW since release. We got tired of dragging slackers through content so we made our own guild. We are currently working on tier 6 content.

We have a rather short raid schedule, only 12-16 hours a week but we take this time seriously. Our raiding group is small and we like it that way. We've learned to work around the disadvantages of not having a huge pool of players and we believe this makes our progression faster.

Players who don’t know how to play their class will be called out and if they don’t bring up their game to the guild's standard, they will be kicked out. Mercilessly.

That being said, we're not heartless. The standard is pretty simple : there are other people in your class and you should all perform roughly the same. Skill is everything, gear only makes content easier.

We open recruitment on a on-need basis.

  • Applications are kept private. The form you're going to use sends a mail to our recruiting officers. No one's going to find your app on a publicly viewable forum.
  • Group applications: AKA husband and wife or something, will be reviewed individually. There will be no exceptions. Don't apply stating you will only stay if we take all your friends even if they suck. Your application would go directly to the trash can.
  • Our raiding days are Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. Raids start around 7:30PM and end before 11PM most of the time. We expect good attendance, especially from applicants.
  • We expect you to show up ready for raids with all consumables required for your class, including appropriate flasks. We strongly suggest that every raider specs his or her character for optimal raid performance. We won't force specs, but you won't be a priority for raid groups if we think your spec is not raid-oriented.
  • You must apply with the character you intend play. If you apply as a priest for example, don't think you'll be able to switch mains to your rogue.
  • While we're speaking about alts: we will not tag your alts as long as you are not a full member.
  • You will be taken for a 3 week evaluation period (duration subject to change.) During this period, there are some limitations on what you can loot.
  • During your evaluation, you may not take an item that a full member wants on their main. You may take items over alts.
  • You will receive full DKP for your participation during your evaluation.
  • After 3 weeks, the core members will take a secret vote to decide if we want to keep you. There are 3 possibles outcomes:
    • If we think you're an excellent player, you will be granted full membership and the looting restrictions will be lifted.
    • If we think you're good but not quite there yet, we will grant you an extra week or 2 under the same evaluation rules.
    • If things don't work out, you will be asked to leave. An officer will tell you why we came to this decision. We HAVE kicked players out already.

If you have any questions about the guild or our recruitment process feel free to contact Zarkas, Amagran, Efrico or Cerinia in-game.
