Outline
Focus are a well established, friendly raiding guild. We enjoyed a lot of raiding successes pre-Burning Crusade, clearing Molten Core, Ruins of Ahn'Qiraj, Zul'Gurub (not Jin'do) and Onyxia's Lair, and we are now facing new and exciting challenges in The Burning Crusade. Our strengths lie in our friendly team-spirit, our enjoyment of World of Warcraft, and our willingness to operate as a guild rather than as a collection of individuals. The majority of our members are adult players, who understand that raiding is a team effort both inside and outside of the raid instance, we support one another enabling our progression to further challenges, further successes and more fun. Through the challenges we've faced together, we have become a group of firm friends, and from my point of view, this guild and its members are second to none!
Focus is run by a Council of two people, effectively 2 GM's. You will also find an officer rank, which is made up of people who became officers because they make an outstanding contribution to the guild, as well as class leaders and raid leaders. We're always open to hearing what you have to say, and should you have any fresh ideas you can talk to any officer or council member via our forums or during a quiet moment in game.
We of course have guild banks, including a bank for reputation items, crafting materials, enchanting materials, and BoE gear. We encourage you to send items to our bank and to make use of the items we have put there for you, all in all helping the guild move forward faster and smoother...
We are now in a very exciting time! We made excellent progress before The Burning Crusade, within a few months of Focus forming we had cleared The Ruins of Ahn Qiraj, Zul'Gurub **cough** Jin'do **cough** did I say cleared?, as well as clearing Molten Core and repeatedly ganking Onyxia... and all this from players who (vast majority) had not been to these instances before. We now have fantastic challenges ahead with a whole heap of new content which no-one has seen before!
Rules & Requirements
- We have people of many nationalities in Focus, however guild business and raids are conducted in English, so you must be fluent in both written and spoken English.
- New players will receive a trial period, so behave yourselves! Never forget that our guild name is written above your head wherever you go, we want to maintain our good image.
- In order to qualify as a member, you will also have to install the required guild mods (see our Guild Guide when you join the guild, mods such as CTRaidAssist etc). You also need to install TeamSpeak Client, and sign up on our website and Forum at http://www.focuswowguild.co.uk
- The rules of the game should be well known to all of us by now, but just for the sake of this guide, no ninja looting, no flaming, no spamming, no anti-social or offensive behaviour... and this doesn't only mean within our guild, but in any PUG, public channel or forum.
