LotS Rules & Information League of the Soulless
Hello everyone, my name is Beherit and I am the Sr. GM of this wonderful guild. Over the course of the guilds existence, a lot has changed, but what hasn't have been the few simple rules we have made to keep order. Also, listed below are points everyone should know if you plan on joining the guild or already have and don't know. Anything for Raids to Class Leaders to acting appropriately. It is all below:
1. Be respectful of everyone in the guild. If someone asks something in guild chat, and you know the answer, throw them a whisper and help them out. Help each other out and stick up for one another, and the League will continue to be the best guild on the server.
2. Don't ask guild mates for money. Everyone has worked hard for their money, and should not feel obligated to hand it out. There are plenty of ways to get money. Doing instances or quests will get you gold. Work on your professions. All of these will help get you gold.
3. Guild chat is not a chat room. I know a lot of you have buddies in the guild and that's great. All I ask is if you want to chat with them, join a party or log on Ventrilo. Guild chat is designed for people needing questions answered about quests, instances, professions, or anything WoW related. Use the whisper feature to directly connect with your pals.
4. Check the website, and the Message of the Day to be in the loop for upcoming instances, detailed info on how the raids are going, raid info, etc. With everything laid out so nicely here why should the officers have to type it out again in the game? Please use this website.
5. Please do not constantly ask for help, or don't bug the 60s to help you with quests. Depending how high you are in levels, having a level 60 help you will result in you getting barely any experience. Try to quest with people around the same level as you.
6. Get to know your Class Leaders. These individuals have mastered their characters and want to help you be the best you can! The Class Leaders are also ultimately in charge of who goes on the big raids to MC, ZG, etc. Getting to know them and allowing them to work with you will make it easy for them to know if you're ready for Molten Core, etc. Once again, all info for this is in the website.
7. Anything Raid related, please ask Beherit, Aggression, or Basilisk. These three individuals are in charge of every Raid League of the Soulless go on. These guys know what they are doing. Please listen to them. Also please note: Failure to respect the Raiders wishes while inside an instance will be reported. This, in turn, could be grounds for your removal from the guild depending of the severity of your actions.
8. Anyone 40+ thats looking to be part of our WoW community can enter League of the Soulless. Please have them contact me, Beherit, either through the website or in the game. If I am not on, any officer will do, but they may tell you to wait till I am on. If you are only joining LotS to attend our raids, first please check our class status on the home page of this site, and if you are still interested follow up with an application. Please be aware that although following this process is absolutely necessary, it does not guarantee entry to the guild or its raids.
9. When you reach level 60 you are allowed one alt into the guild. Until you are level 60 on your main character, the character you will primarily take to MC and so forth, do not ask to bring your alt in because I will say no.
10. I would hope everyone would want to become a Demon. More info on this is located in the website. These individuals who are Demons ultimately get picked first to join the big Raids. All the rules for being a Demon, going on Raids with LotS are located in the Raid Rules & Info thread. Please read them.
11. If you are inactive for 20 days, when you hit your 21st day of inactivity, you will be removed from the guild. We do this to keep our numbers accurate. If you get booted due to inactivity, and wish to return, hit me, Beherit, with a /whisper and we'll discuss your return. Normally this is not a problem. I am merely making sure you were booted for that reason, and not another.
Promotions:
Level 1-59 - You are considered a Spectre of League of the Soulless.
Level 60 (Haunter) - Haunters are level 60 members that still need their tier 0 loot from Strat/Scholo/UBRS/LBRS.
Level 60 (Demon) - Demons are individuals that have gotten their loot from the above instances. If you wish, you can apply to become a Demon, and each class is different. Read up on the requirements, and if you so choose, follow the directions and apply. You will then join the Demon rank, like myself, and get first pick of coming to MC.
NOTE: Haunters can still go to MC, ZG, etc. The Demons get to be invited first, because they have done the necessary requirements asked by the Raid Leaders. Demons are high end instance raiding individuals. If the Raid does not have enough Demons to do the raid, Haunters will be invited.
Warn, Silence, Boot
Three strikes and you're out. If an Officer, Raid Leader, or Class Leader sees you doing anything to defy the rules above, you will be warned. A second time would result in you being sent to Silence. Silence is a level where the people in it cannot chat in guild chat. After 24 hours you will get your rank back. If you go against the rules a third time, you will be booted, and put on our permaban list.
Guild Tabards
We have a tabard. These cost money, therefore you do not need to have one if you do not wish to have one. If you have the extra money, and want to show off your League of the Soulless tabard, then please, pick one up. These are sold in Orgrimmar, Undercity, and Thunder Bluff.
