Guild Information

Order of the Raven is a high end PvE raiding guild on the Aggramar (US) server. Created on November 11, 2004, Order of the Raven's initial player base was comprised largely of an Everquest guild known as the Nameless Order.

Order of the Raven is one of the oldest guilds on Aggramar, comprised of roughly 60 accounts. While it is comparatively small in size, Order of the Raven has been able to maintain it's presence as the top PvE progression guild on Aggramar since before the Gates of Ahn'Qiraj were opened (by the previous guild master of Order of the Raven, Yukiri). The guild maintains an extremely high retention rate, and enjoys friendly relations with other guilds on the server.

Order of the Raven is a progression based raiding guild. They quickly take old content off the raid schedule in pursuit of new kills. When they are not raiding, they are known for organizing server pug runs to instances like Blackwing Lair and Gruul's Lair. In order to expedite the opening of the Ahn'Qiraj gates, they organized a server wide contest giving away runs to Onyxia, Molten Core and Blackwing Lair.

Currently, Order of the Raven is pushing hard through Sunwell, going back to Black Temple and Hyjal as needed. As of July 2008, they have cleared all Tier 6 raiding content within the game, from Molten Core all the way up through Illidan and Archimonde, currently working on the Eredar Twins in Sunwell. In Burning Crusade content, they have achieved server-first kills for all raid bosses except Archimonde (downed by Tren de Dolor on 12/21/07). They also cleared Zul'Aman twice in the first week it was launched in patch 2.3. OTR continues to farm Zul'Aman and Karazhan on non-raiding nights, and occasionally after scheduled raids.

Before Burning Crusade, Order of the Raven had many server first kills including: Ragnaros, Nefarian, Hakkar, Ossirian, Lethon, Emeriss, Ysondre, Taerar, C'Thun, Kel'Thuzad, and many bosses in The Molten Core, Blackwing Lair, Ahn'Qiraj, and Naxxramas.
