Guild Vision
Our mission is to be a casual raiding guild and to combine real life with constant progression in World of Warcraft
About us
At the start of April 2007 a few people left their guilds and started Origin.
We've spent the last few weeks taking stock and deciding what we want this guild to be about. We had to make sure that everybody had a common purpose and felt the same way about this game. We came up with the term 'Casual Raiders' to describe how we want to progress. This means we want to see end game content, but not at the expense of social lives or hours spent farming consumables but through dedication and persistence.
To this end, we are currently raiding Magtheridon and SSC. We have killed our first SSC boss The Lurker Below and are working on our 2nd kill and hopefully a new encounter here soon. Maggie is proving to be a bit more of a problem but we are very close to a kill. Gruul's Lair and Karazhan are on farm status.
Raiding plans
We have 3 core raid nights, raiding 25-man content on Wednesdays, Sundays and Mondayd and Kara Fridays. The actual destinations are subject to change dependent on numbers. In the case of certain classes there is a voluntary rotation in place to ensure we all get to see the place.
Going forward our focus is on killing Magtheridon and cementing our dominance over The Lurker. Our tanks are working on some Hydross gear and we'll make some further progress into SSC soon. We are also actively working on member gear from Kara and Gruul to make the transition into SSC easier.
