Guild History
Edit
Outcasts was formed in October 2005 on the server Kor'gall-EU. The founding guild members originally hailed from raiding guild Insomnia, until drama arose and certain key people were /gkicked. Many other old members were appalled at the events that were occurring and so also decided to /gquit, leaving behind a guild with it's focal member base now severely limited. Outcasts was formed by those who were "outcast", hence the guild name. Soon after, Kor'gall-EU was given the option of free migration to a fresh server, Executus-EU. Many people thought this to be the perfect chance for a new start, and so the vote was cast and the guild migrated.
Having previous experience of raiding MC and Onyxia from Insomnia, Outcasts fast progressed up the ranks and downed Ragnaros quickly, progressing through BWL, AQ40, and the first boss of Naxx by the time The Burning Crusade hit.
Guild Information
Edit
Outcasts key ideal is that of a casual raiding guild. No minimum raid attendance is required, and details in terms of gear and attunements are usually ambiguous at best. Members are generally divided into 4 main categories: Raider, Member, Friend and Alt. The guild has been run successfully using this format and is happy with how things work. A Zero-sum based DKP system is currently in use, and the guild has a separate Raid Schedule site to efficiently plan all raids and view attendees.
