Past Tense was founded to create a fun and prosperous gaming community for World of Warcraft. We are dedicated to the gamer who likes to have fun, have a sense of community, direction, and is planning on sticking with us for the long run. We expect our members to be mature and work for the benefit of the guild as a whole, and just not for their personal gain.
We are a PvE Alliance Guild and our main goal is to explore the end content of TBC / WoTLK and beyond. Therefore we strive to excel in raiding, the only difference is, that we understand people have "REAL LIVES" outside Warcraft, hence why we Raid at a later time than most other guilds to accomodate those people who have things to do during the day, afternoon and early evening. 25-man Raids usually start at 11pm (Server Time) with a typical run being about 2-3 hours in duration.
Past Tense was formed on Bronzebeard. It is dedicated towards end game instances, hence we only recruit people with experience and suitable gear. To fill out an application goto the recruitment link. Past Tense - A Brief History
This guild was originaly formed by Dorthar and Harpo with a group of friends on the Alliance side of Warcraft. After growing to a considerable size they started attempting Karazhan. After which the guild moved onto 25-Man Raids. Within weeks they had their first battle with Gruul as word of their quick progress got around the forums and server, recruitment increased dramatically and weeks later they were farming Magtheridon.
Further ventures into Serpentshrine Cavern ensued. As of 22nd July 2008 Lady Vashj was killed in a guild 1st.
Prior to Patch 3.02 Kael'thas Sunstrider was downed on 14th October 2008 with only 10mins left til the Server shut-down.
From there on Black Temple was assaulted as only Past Tense can, and on November 5th 2008 illidan was downed in a guild 1st, Carequinha (Rogue) was the lucky recipient of the Guilds 1st Warglaive of Azzinoth.
11th November 2008, Past Tense finally cleared the final Boss Archimonde from Mount Hyjal. This means all original Burning Crusade Bosses and Instances were fully cleared.
With the emergence of Wrath of the Lich King the guild is now attempting to level and gear up as many raiders as possible. From there, who knows what awaits, but if anything with all the hard work that goes with the guild, things can only get better...
Wrath of the Lich King
Wrath of the Lich King came out with a bang! New and exciting features emerged, with the main emphasis of the guild to gear up, and get to level 80. This was accomplished by a number of individuals in near record time, and experience in the Northrend instances has been achieved by all active Raiders...
It wasn't long before once again Past Tense was back in the flow of 10man Raids - With Naxxramas being cleared in quick succession, also once a core group was assembled, 25man Raids were back on the Past Tense Menu!. As previously stated, Past Tense's goal was to End-Game raid with fun and enjoyment along the way, in a relaxed atmosphere - to which this hasn't changed.
Past Tense's achievements, goals and status improves with each and every week. With the emmergence of the new raid instance known as Ulduar and Trial of the Crusader, the same commitment and dedication that has been shown during TBC and WOTLK has reaped the rewards duly earned by the raiders and guild alike. Making quick progress and gaining various achievements & Hard Modes along the way, it's only a matter of time before even the mighty Lich King himself (Next Patch!) succumbs and bows to the might that is simply PAST TENSE.

- Sunday to Thursday 01:00am, [10-man 'Normal - Late Night Run'] - Ulduar
- Friday & Saturday, 11:00pm, [10-man 'Normal' Raid] - Ulduar
