Rising is a Horde guild on the European Aggramar realm which was formed shortly after the release of The Burning Crusade in 2007. Many of the members that comprise the guild are former members of Unleashed Chaos and Boys From The Horde, two other guilds on Aggramar.

Guild Aim
The following is part of the Rising Guild Aim found on the Rising Forums, by Naguk, the second guild leader of Rising:
"...we realise that if we can ensure our members enjoy the game, and look forward to raiding, there will be a commitment in terms of consistent attendance from our raiders."
Guild Structure
The guild is lead by Gormane. Along with Gormane, the Rising officers are: Chillicy, Sleezy, Naguk, Talandar, Voltij, Zhor, Briareos, Tzyrr and Rashikki.
Guild Progress
Rising has completed the following Burning Crusade raid instances:
- Karazhan - 25/04/2007
- Gruul's Lair - 03/06/2007
- Magtheridon's Lair - 03/07/2007
- Serpentshrine Cavern - 06/01/2008
- The Eye - 31/01/2008
- The Black Temple - 18/06/2008
- Mount Hyjal - 24/06/2008
Rising have also slain Doom Lord Kazzak for the first time on 19/07/2007 and Doomwalker on 24/08/2007.
Rising are currently ranked as the fourth most progressive guild of Aggramar, and second on the horde side. On 27/08/2008 they killed Kalecgos and they are currently attempting Felmyst in The Sunwell.
