Security is an international hardcore PvE raiding guild on the Frostmane Server, Alliance side. The majority of our raid core consists of Brits & Swedes (unfortunately). Next to that we have people from every corner of Europe, including: Belgium, Denmark, Italy, Netherlands, Norway and Romania. The language used in guildchat & on ventrilo is English for obvious reasons.
SECURITY is a guild originating from the Dragonmaw Server. Back then the guild was a very successful guild & was amongst the first guilds (usually second) on every single boss kill on Dragonmaw. But lag issues struck Dragonmaw, making decent progress almost impossible.
<SECURITY> and pretty much the entirety of the Dragonmaw raiding community left for Frostmane with the open realm transfers on May 15, 2006, replacing the caps in the guild name when the guild was remade on the new server.
The week following the transfer, no longer held back by lag issues, Security killed C'thun. About 2 months later Security managed to be server first at clearing the entire spider wing in Naxxramas. Months passed and Security progressed in Naxxramas. During that summer & directly after their Four Horseman kill at the start of October a lot of members left and had to be replaced. After fitting in all the new people, Security managed to kill Sapphiron and one week later Kel'thuzad, two days before the preparation patch for The Burning Crusade.
Raid progression started up rather slow when The Burning Crusade was released. But once Kael'thas was defeated (server 4th) the guild went on a roll and after some crazy progress through Black Temple we managed to secure a server 2nd (alliance first) position on Illidan. What followed next were nearly 8 months of farming. A new year, some fresh recruits to fill up the gap & to prepare for Sunwell. Once this brand new instance was released Security swiftly sweaped the place clean of the first 3 bosses during the 1st lockout. After another 2 weeks of waiting the gates to Eredar Twins were opened and while competition was failing, Security rose to the throne & got their first server 1st in almost 2 years and a world #19. 3 weeks later M'uru appeared to be a cockblock but after countless hours of attempts the guild managed to defeat him for yet another server first. After taking 2 server firsts Security was ready to go all out on Kil'jaeden. After another 3 weeks Sunwell Plateau finally got Secured.
November 16... just 3 days after the release of Wrath of the Lich King Security managed to get a raid into the Obsidian Sanctum & was server first to kill Sartharion. The day after, ventured into Naxxramas once again and after raiding until the early hours Security managed to kill Kel'thuzad server first. The night following to that yet another instance was cleared, Eye of Eternity, after the fall of the crazed blue dragon Malygos.
At the start of 2009 Security took the free migration from Frostmane EU to Mazrigos EU, redeeming the allcaps version of the guild name. Security sweaped Ulduar clean in the first 3 days after it's release but went through a rough patch the 2 weeks after with a lot of people (including half the officer base) leaving. The guild is currently on the better hand & working on Ulduar's hardmodes.
Surely SECURITY will be ready again when Icecrown comes out...
Note: The guild has since last update moved back to Frostmane and reclaimed the name: Security. SECURITY on Mazrigos is probably held by some alt characters. Apart from being moved, this page has not been updated in a while. Someone with knowledge about the guild should update the article.
Fjeenzy: First Alliance on Dragonmaw to get full Tier 1 (on his rogue, Roni). Rerolled to warrior during Blackwing Lair, later becoming Security's new Main Tank. Resigned as main tank after clearing Black Temple. Holder of [Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker] and [Warglaive of Azzinoth]. Has rerolled to Stjärndamm. Together with Alanna he's the only person to have killed the first 2 Molten Core gaints with Security that is still active.
Alecto: SECURITY's first raid leader. Known for his constant spamming about DPS. Left during the progress in Black Wing Lair. Also liked to explain entire encounters in caps (making the point that it was shift and not capslock).
Solidus: Guild and Raid leader of Security from spring 2006. Holder of Medivh's staff, [Atiesh, Greatstaff of the Guardian]. Self-proclaimed Arch Druid of Frostmane. Decided to leave the game in the fall of 2008, not long before the 3.0 patch. Has returned May 2009 as Castiël.
Windforce: Creator of Security's famous Cinematic Naxxramas movies. World's first & only hunter that is in possesion of a Corrupted Ashbringer since before The Burning Crusade. Also holder of [Thori'dal, the Stars' Fury]. Security's current guild leader (as off May 2009).
Dra: Guild Master of Security from Fall 2008 until the migration to Mazrigos at the start of 2009. Important asset to the guild when it came to tactic development in Sunwell & especially in Wrath of the Lich King. Left the guild in May 2009 for personal reasons.
MasterLoco: Creator of Security's WoWwiki page. Guild Master from January 2009, after the migration to Mazrigos. Resigned & quit the game in May 2009.
Guild first kill of Kel'Thuzad and clear of the Naxxramas, server 1st. Started out with about 17-18 people, more people joined as they dinged 80. Instance cleared around 2:30 server time.
