History Edit

ShadowGear Army is a World of Warcraft raiding guild made up of seasoned players who have been around since the beta days. Each and every member of our guild is friendly and helpful. You won't find arrogant, selfish people here. What you will find is a guild of friends who enjoy playing the game and love the thrill of raiding. Fun is emphasized while playing, but so is a professional attitude towards progression. We want to have fun first and foremost, this is a game after all, but you won't find a bunch of crass, adolescent people here.

Raid Schedule Edit

We do progression raids 3 nights a week. On off-raid nights, we run non-progression raids, such as 10-mans, VOA, etc. Raid invites start at 7:45PM (server time) First pull is at 8:00PM (server time).

• Monday, 7:45 PM - 12:00 midnight (server time)
• Wednesday, 7:45 PM - 12:00 midnight (server time)
• Thursday, 7:45 PM - 12:00 midnight (server time)

Guild Features Edit

• We use a DKP system for loot. DKP is awarded for attendance and killing of bosses. Guild first boss kills earn double DKP. Raiders may bid on an item via silent bidding system. No bidding of points is necessary. Of the raiders who bid, top DKP wins the item, with priority given to raiders, then members.
• If more than 25 raiders show up for a raid, anyone put on standby will still accumulate DKP.
• Raider status (initiate, member, raider) is considered first for raids, followed by group makeup.

Recruiting Edit

The following steps towards enlisting will help make your transition into the ShadowGear Army easier:

• Simply log on to our forums at http://www.shadowgeararmy.com/forums
• Create a username
• Go to the "Guild Recruitment" forum. Read the "Application Template" post. There you will be instructed on how to fill out an application.
• Fill out an application and post it

That's all there is to it. Please take a few minutes when filling our your application. Please answer every question. The more time you put into your application the more willing we'll be to consider you as an applicant. Once you fill out an application, an officer will be in contact with you. Either on the forums or in-game directly.

All new members are required to go through initiate status for a 2 week period. If, after that time, you attend 90% of the raids and are considered a decent player by the recruting officers, you will be promoted to member status. AFter 30 days and 80% attendance, you will be promoted to raider status.
