Viva Las Vegas
SCH was started by a group of eight friends who all live in Las Vegas, NV. Once they all finally hit level 60 and realized it was time for Molten Core they recruited a kid from Colorado and several notable others. More Sin City residents joined and progression started at a delightfully easy one raid/week pace.
The guild has had two major schisms regarding progress and casual vs. hardcore. Both times resulting in a mass exodus and leaving only the loyalists who really play the game to have fun, and could care less about their guild name on a progress website.
On 14 November 2007, it was announced that Sin City Horde would disband. Very few of the original charter members still play and the guild became far more than any of the original members signed up for. The time commitment of being a leader in a raiding guild proved to be too much, as many members have careers, families, kids, sports, etc. A third schism was on the way and rather than allow such madness the guild was deliberately taken apart.
