Overview

The Sisterhood of Azeroth is a guild comprised of female-only members, aligned with the Alliance. While they have no one driving goal, they all seem to be dedicated to the protection of the lands they roam in, serving their communities and working to disarm injustices as they come across them. As their name implies, they are a female-only organization, though they open their membership to any of the races of the Alliance. Furthering the advancement of women in Azeroth also seems to be one of their minor goals, but this tends to take a backseat to their other priorities as they struggle to find their place in the world.

History

Three childhood friends-- Satrine Starshot, Rosarith Nightshade, and Calialith (family name unknown)-- met in Teldrassil after having been apart for many years, and decided to train together to prepare for the outside world. The three Night Elves talked often about gathering a group of friends and heroes as they went-- though most of this was youthful fancy, they thought more seriously about it as their training lead them out of the World Tree and to the town of Auberdine. The three women had all grown a little distrustful of men in their lives-- Rosarith had been an orphan, abandoned by her father, Satrine's father was often away and she seldom saw him growing up, and Calialith has her own reasons, which have yet to become fully clear (such is the mysterious nature of Rogues). Feeling a more comfortable bond with their own sex, they decided their new group would be composed only of women. The name of the Sisterhood was derived from Satrine's wish that, someday, they could even reach across factional lines to help unite Azeroth from its shattered state.

As they traveled, they met many dynamic women of all different races and classes, and though it took several months, they finally found enough people who were willing to join their cause and were able to ratify their Guild Charter in late February of 619. Shortly thereafter, they acquired the lease to an old bar in the Park District of Stormwind, where they have set up their temporary guild hall.

Alliances/Relations

While they have no formal alliance with them, the guild known as Manifest Destiny is very friendly with them-- most notably, their guild leader, a Night Elf Hunter named Lylan. Lylan has offered members of the Sisterhood material assistance from time to time, and he is essentially Satrine's patron, aiding her in her own training and growth.

The Sisterhood also has a generally neutral stance toward The Horde. They have often encountered parties of Horde in the field, and have even assisted them and worked with them against difficult monsters or obstacles. The noble exception to this would be on structured battlegrounds, where the war is clearly being fought-- otherwise, they do not seek a fight unless a fight is brought to them.

OOC Information

The Sisterhood is a medium-to-heavy RP guild based on the Sentinels server. The guild only accepts female characters, though the player of said character may be of any gender. Most of the mains attached to this guild are below level 40, but any level or class is accepted. Group runs on instances are typically run during weekends. Those wishing to apply may speak to Satrine or Rosarith.
