Guild:Strangely Ironic (Proudmoore US)

Strangely Ironic (SI) was formed on the 12th of April, 2005 on the Proudmoore World of Warcraft server by Corgi/Tekhen.

Since inception, SI has completed:
- Molten Core
- Onyxia
- Blackwing Lair
- AQ20/ZG20
- Assembly of Thunderfury and Sulfuras
- AQ40 (to C'Thun)
- Naxxramas (Spider Wing, Noth, Patchwerk)
- Karazhan
- Gruul's Lair
...as well as seen the guild swell to 500+ players, 250 accounts to its current size of below 50 accounts.

SI classifies itself as a moderately full-time raiding guild, and expects the majority of its players attend progression raiding.

To those unaware of the history, SI was formed and at most, had 7 players online. We entered into a merge with two guilds - Immortal Vigilantes and Aspects of the Dragon with a view to not have to worry about PuGs anymore. The 40 man stuff flowed afterwards. During the months that followed, players from Heroes of the Lance and Whim and Ability came onboard. This formed what you see now as the core of SI, I guess Likewise, we have our alliance partner Geek Legion who've been there from the start. We also during 2005 had some intake from The Amarathine Order, as well as the larger one from Ascending Order. And of course, the recruitment forum has picked up some people as well.

SI has remained an extremely stable and successful guild on Proudmoore with a great bunch of players.
