Alliance
Role-play: Light (but very open to it - speak in character, and it's likely others will respond in kind)
PVE: Our current focus is on five-person content. Although we have members whose characters are below level 60, most of our activites are based in the Outland.
PVP: Light
Membership: The Thunderbrew Guard has the sole purpose of providing a light, fun, and helpful atmosphere in which to play World of Warcraft. Much of our current focus is on five-person content in Outland. Although we have members whose characters are below level 60, most of our activites are based in the Outlands.*
Thunderbrew Guard is not a hardcore end-game guild. Although we are likely to eventually raid, possibly as part of a guild alliance, we are casual. We stick together for fun and friendship, not for phat lewt.
So, if being part of a fun, casual and mature guild appeals to you, we may just be what you have been looking for!
(* Most, not all. Many of our established players have alts of various levels, and it shouldn't be a surprise to see a group heading off to the Deadmines or Sunken Temple every once in a while ...)
Purpose
The purpose of the Thunderbrew Guard is to maintain a high level of expertise amongst those charged with the protection of the Thunderbrew clan's great beers. In order to maintain this expertise, the 'Guard spend most of their hours in combat, either against world class foes in various dungeons and remote regions of Azeroth and Outland or directly against the Horde, wherever they choose to stand and fight.
The 'Guard, being in constant close proximity to enormous amounts of superb beer, are easy-going and mellow. They fight wherever there's a fight, but prefer a tight knit five person group of similarly inebirated adventurers. They regularly venture into every dungeon worthy of their skills, and some beyond.
Technical Details
The Thunderbrew Guard consists of both ex-raiders and players who have no interest in raiding, some from their home, Steamwheedle Cartel, some from other realms. Having no interest in the drama and work-like aspects of high-end raiding, they nevertheless are planning on hitting Karazhan -- but in a friendly, inclusive way. They've been known to spend time hooting, hollering, and running through all the level 70 5-person content, and can be seen occasionally in places like Zul'Gurub for laughs and fun (and to help people level their alts). Most of the members are genuine adults, some with actual, real-life children or other pets. Guild chat is lively and adult without being rated X. (Or even R, really. Probably not more than PG, maybe PG-13. And not because of any rule - it's just the way real adults talk.)

Joining the 'Guard
You can visit the Thunderbrew Guard at their home any time and leave a message. An officer will contact you as soon as word gets out. You don't need to be an ex-raider or even level 70 to join, you just need to like playing the game and like other people.
Working with the 'Guard
The Thunderbrew Guard has a number of interesting, skilled and wholly fabulous people! If you are interested in playing with members casually, simply send any of them a message in-game, and they will direct you to the nearest friendly Brewer!
If you are interested in a longstanding Alliance, or would like to explore any Raid content with the Thunderbrew Guard, please visit and post a note in our SWC Alliance Forum. There is some limited interest within our Guild for Raid content, and we may find a few people to fill your raid.
