Half-giants are a hybrid creature from the distant past, historical interbreeding of giants and smaller humanoids. In World of Warcraft, the only known group of these people are the vrykul of Northrend.

Ogres have been refered to as a race of "draenor's giants". As such, half-ogres, both mok'nathal and half-human half-ogres, may qualify as half-giants, though this is debated and unconfirmed.
