Halgrind is a subzone of Howling Fjord. Halgrind was originally a vrykul community, but it is implied that the Forsaken forced the vrykul out and took over the area.[1]

- It may be a possible reference to "Helgrind" from the Eragon series of books by Christopher Paolini.
