These snowballs are exclusively found in Alterac Valley in stacks of 5 in Hardpacked Snowdrifts. Moreover, they can only be found during Winter Veil.
Notes
This item can be thrown at enemy players, knocking them back a long distance. It interrupts spell casting and can be used in situations to make the enemy die from falling damage (at the Snowfall Graveyard or Dun Baldar Bridge, for example).
At one point, they could be used on friendly players (often to knock AFK honor farmers through the exit portal), but this is no longer possible.
They have a short duration of 5 minutes before they melt.
