The History of HeartswoodEdit

During the War of the Ancients, two lovers fought surrounded by enemies in Ordil'Aran. As the battle wore on, the female was slain by a demon-tainted blade. The male, disregarding his own life, turned to cradle his lover as she died. Unable to face the endless ages without her at his side, he allowed the demons to slay him. Where they took their last breaths, a tree known as the heartswood grew, a symbol of their undying love.
