Help:Creating a quest article
From WoWWiki
Starting off
- Use Boilerplate:Quest !
Naming
Suggestion: For any Quest specific articles, use "Quest:" (with the colon)
before the article name.
When naming quest articles, specify parts of a multi-part chain and faction (Alliance or Horde) in the parentheses (), but Neutral or one faction only quests don't need any special identifier. Some examples:
- A Neutral or single faction only quest would be named like this:
Quest:WANTED:_Andre_Firebeard - A Horde quest with a similarly named Alliance quest would be named like this:
Quest:An Earnest Proposition (Horde)andQuest:An Earnest Proposition (Alliance) - Part 2 of a Neutral or single faction only quest would be named like this:
Quest:Raptor Mastery (2) - Part 2 of an Horde quest would be named like this:
Quest:Taming the Beast (Horde 2)
Categorizing
To apply the "Quests" category to your article, use the boilerplate!
To link to this or any other category inside any article, put a colon before the rest of the link. For example: [[:Category:Gameplay]] yields this link: Category:Gameplay. Had the link been [[Category:Gameplay]], there would be a link at the bottom as it is when you put that same tag near the bottom of the page (which this page does have), but not where you expected it to be on the page in the text flow.
