Behavior modification Edit

I do not get any 'edit' or 'delete' buttons on visual view. This may be due to my only allowing images from particular known domains; if these new icons are from elsewhere, they may not be displayed. If so, then there also is no placeholder for making that selection.

Posting comments on the Village pump is fine. Ask Kirkburn what domain these images come from. It might be some new subdomain of wikia.com. -- Fandyllic (talk · contr) 6:46 PM PST 17 Mar 2009

I'm assuming that when you say "'edit' or 'delete' buttons", you mean the edit ("⇄") and delete ("×") buttons. Are you allowing images from images.wikia.com? They should be from there, but I don't know for sure. -- Fandyllic (talk · contr) 6:51 PM PST 17 Mar 2009

I allow images on a per-domain basis. I allow at least some WoW domains. Some WoW images migrate around a bit.... In any case, I've turned these advanced options off. Get off my lawn, durn'd new features... --Eirik Ratcatcher (talk) 20:41, April 29, 2010 (UTC)

This might not solve the problem; but, you can use the Redirector addon for Firefox and redirect images from sites you deem unsafe (or all but the safe ones) to files on your computer (file:///<path to file>) or some site you deem as safe.
