Herbalism (Profession) | |
---|---|
List of herbs • Mob herbalism • Herbalism quests • Techniques • Trainers • Equipment |
In World of Warcraft, herb can mean one of two things:
- A plant or part of a plant that usually serves as an ingredient in some profession (usually Alchemy) but sometimes has some other use, as with certain Quest items and the reagents for a druid's [Rebirth] spell.
- A plant resource which can be harvested by those with the Herbalism profession to gain the above item or items.
Below is a table of all nodes that those with the herbalism profession may loot, the color code at different skill levels, what they yield and where they are primarily found.
For a listing of what herbs are in each area see Herbs by Area
NOTE: Since the patch 3.0.2 the price of herbs has gone much higher than it was before, because a lot of people need them for [Milling] (the sub-class of inscription), so if you want to have the skill inscription, it is a good idea to be herbalist at the same time, as otherwise a low level herb could cost you more than 10g!
