The Highland Forest^{[59, 62]}

is a large verdant area located due north of the Obsidian Forest in the Twilight Highlands. There are scattered pockets of trees sprinkled amongst its rolling green hills, and the indigenous fauna includes both worgs and elk.

A number of gryphons can also be found within this area, some of them injured, while others have been captured by those loyal to the Twilight's Hammer clan. These birds have been trained by the Mullan branch of the Wildhammer clan. Additionally, members of the red dragonflight can be found in a small area^{[59, 69.8]}

that just borders the Obsidian Forest.
